B12 and Folate Should be Taken Together
Folate (also known as folic acid) is an important B vitamin for nerve and cardiovascular health. As such, it is being widely promoted – even food is being fortified with extra folic acid. There is no question that folate supplementation before and during pregnancy cuts down on nerve-related problems in the newborn child.

However, it has also long been known that vitamin B12 and folate work synergistically to support heart and nerve health. Many individuals are taking folic acid without B12, and others are simply getting more folic acid in fortified foods without getting any extra B12.

A new study has shown that folic acid intake in the presence of a lack of B12 actually makes the cardiovascular stress (high homocysteine) that folate is supposed to be helping worse! This is not a problem for any Wellness Resources customer as our products that contain folate also contain the finest quality, bioavailable form of B12 (Daily Energy Multiple Vitamin, Super Mini Multi, Blood Builder, and Super B-Complex).

When we design dietary supplements, we take into account the synergistic relationship of nutrients and provide you with the finest ingredients available. This is a major difference that makes Wellness Resources supplements the first choice of the quality conscious and discerning consumer.
