30 Day Weight Loss Challenge: Keep it Simple

After three full weeks on the Leptin Diet challenge I have lost a total of 6 pounds! I decided to go “basic” this week with food, so I didn’t have to spend as much time preparing it. I am going to have a protein smoothie with ¼ cup of my homemade trail mix for breakfast. I will have a salad with lemon, olive oil and Parmesan as my dressing, along with a 4 oz. pork chop and ¾ cup whole wheat pesto orzo pasta for lunch and dinner. This way I can bulk cook my foods to keep preparation really easy. This also saves me money since I won’t have to buy so much different food and organic greens are pretty cheap in bulk. The pesto pasta is a treat for me so when I eat it, I feel like I’m indulging and not like I am restricting myself.
