Children of Alzheimer Patients Take Note
A new study identifies early adverse brain changes in the healthy children of Alzheimer patients, long before any symptoms appear. The researchers performed functional MRI brain imaging on those who carry the APOE-4 gene, a known risk factor for developing Alzheimer's. They found significantly reduced brain connectivity in their memory-processing brain-related structures, compared to those who do not carry the APOE-4 gene.

Gene-related risks are never written in concrete. This information shows that memory is a weak spot that needs extra support. A comprehensive nutritional program as an intervention strategy makes all the sense in the world.
