Study Title:
Calcium Fructoborate Helps Symptoms of Osteoarthritis
Study Abstract
This study showed FruiteX-B to be effective at reducing the symptoms associated with osteoarthritis.
The participants of the study suffered from osteoarthritis in the knee or hip joint. They were split into two groups based on severity of symptoms. The first group included 10 participants with mild to moderate symptoms and the second group included 10 participants with more severe symptoms.
Results for Mild to Moderate Osteoarthritis group
The group with mild to moderate osteoarthritis symptoms experienced substantial improvements in pain and stiffness reduction and overall joint function.
After 8 weeks, 88% of the participants found improvement in the pain experienced during walking and 83% had less pain when climbing stairs.
After 4 weeks, 80% of the participants reported using less medication or had stopped taking them altogether. After 8 weeks, 2/3 of the participants stopped using pain medication to control pain.
After 4 weeks, all participants had improved function for daily tasks like getting out of bed and taking off socks and shoes.
After 8 weeks, 70% of participants had less stiffness and 78% experienced better joint movement.
After 4 weeks, 100% of the participants had either less stiffness in the morning or no stiffness at all.
Results for Severe Osteoarthritis group
3/4 of the participants decreased the use of pain killers or stopped using them altogether.
2/3 saw improvements in their ability to bend to the floor
86% of participants were pain free at rest.
