My Favorite Breakfast for Energy and Metabolism
August 5, 2024
Do you ever wonder what the best way of eating is to boost energy, curb cravings, and keep your metabolism youthful? I've been following the Leptin Diet for many years. It really is more of a lifestyle, a way of eating, than a short-term diet. It's an excellent way to feel energized from the food you eat and maintain a healthy weight.
I usually start my morning with a Daily Protein smoothie. I like to add a scoop of Wellness Resources Daily Protein with fresh or frozen organic blueberries or banana, organic plain yogurt, and unsweetened coconut milk. I add a scoop of Fiber Helper and Collagen Peptides as well.
This is a quick and easy way to start the day and ensure I'm getting a high protein breakfast to boost energy and metabolism. This keeps me going with good focus and no cravings nor hunger for 5-6 hours or more.
In addition to beginning my day with a protein shake, I follow the 5 Rules of the Leptin Diet to stay fit. Once you get going, it's easy!
The Five Rules of The Leptin Diet:
- Don’t eat after dinner. Finish eating dinner at least three hours before bed.
- Eat three meals a day. Allow 5-6 hours between meals. Do not snack!
- Do not eat large meals. Finish a meal when you are slightly less than full. Eat slowly so you receive the full signal before overeating.
- Eat a high protein breakfast. Aim for 20-30 grams of protein at breakfast.
- Reduce the amount of carbohydrates eaten. Limit, don't cut out carbs.
Starting the day off with a high protein breakfast will make the other rules easier to follow! As needed, I take LeptiSlim and Cinnamon Plus to help keep any cravings at bay.
If you want to get in shape and feel great, get started on morning protein shakes and follow the simple steps of the Leptin Diet.
It’s a great time to make the commitment, reset your health trend and feel energized!
Be well,
Mary Elle
