Female Plus is expertly designed to help you naturally manage modern-day stressors that affect hormonal balance. It’s a game changer!

Myo-Inositol

The menstrual cycle is an energy intensive process. In fact, tissues like the ovaries are glucose hungry as they need fuel for fertility and menstrual functions. Myo-inositol is a carbohydrate type nutrient used heavily by the ovaries and as well as your heart and brain to process insulin and glucose and energy demands.

Myo-inositol is used daily by your body for several structural and metabolic functions. It is an important messenger in endocrine signaling activity and functionality of FSH/follicle stimulating hormone, TSH/thyroid stimulating hormone, insulin and aromatase activity.

Myo-inositol is especially important for ovarian health and blood sugar balance as it supports insulin signaling and glucose metabolism via several metabolic pathways. This allows a healthier metabolic environment for ovarian function, reproduction, and metabolism. Myo-inositol transporters are also found in the brain, heart, kidney, liver, pancreas, placenta, and skeletal muscles.

If you eat a low fiber, high sugar diet or if you have blood sugar imbalance, then your body breaks down myo-inositol faster and absorption is diminished. Inositol is found in beans, brown rice, peas, nuts, and wheat bran and is also made by the kidneys, yet many women need supplemental support because of increased demands.

I3C and DIM

Female Plus now contains higher amounts of I3C (Indole-3-Carbinol) and as well as the addition of DIM (di-indole-methane). As exposure to daily toxins increases and dietary consumption of vegetables is often lacking, there is a higher demand for these powerful phytonutrients.

I3C and DIM are bioactive phytochemicals naturally found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, etc. They naturally help protect the plants from fungus, oxidative stressors, and other environmental challenges with many of these benefits transferring to human health.

I3C and DIM are essential for detoxification and management of estrogens produced in your body as well as xenoestrogens and endocrine disrupting compounds found in the environment, food, and water. I3C and DIM are considered great cell protectors as they can induce apoptosis, autophagy, and interfere with cell proliferation.

Other diverse benefits of I3C and DIM include management of inflammatory responses related to LPS-toxins, NF-kappa B, TNF-a, IL-6, and expression of several proinflammatory genes. I3C and DIM help activate the antiaging SIRT1 gene and suppresses fat-storing gene expression as demonstrated in cellular studies. DIM also enhances insulin signaling pathways, which supports glucose uptake via increased activity of other genes and signaling pathways for healthy weight and metabolism.

Calcium D-Glucarate

Calcium-D-glucarate is a form of glucaric acid. It is naturally produced in small amounts in your body and is found in apples, oranges, grapefruit, cruciferous vegetables, and lesser amounts in other produce.

Calcium-D-glucarate is involved with Phase II liver detoxification which is a major step of clearing out xenoestrogens and other toxins. During the detoxification process, fat-soluble toxins, steroid hormones (cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, etc.), pesticides, herbicides, etc. are bound by glucuronic acid in the liver and then excreted by fecal material.

In the colon, calcium-D-glucarate inhibits beta-glucuronidase, which is an enzyme produced by the gut microbiome. Too much beta glucuronidase in your gut impairs how well xenoestrogens and hormones are detoxified and can lead to a health challenging build-up. If these estrogens are not excreted, they are resorbed back into circulation contributing to your total estrogen load and dominance.

Calcium D-glucarate also suppresses cell proliferation and induces apoptosis for cellular clean-up of non-beneficial cells. Another benefit is that it helps clearance of bile acids and a reduction of cholesterol production.

Sulforaphane Glucosinolate

Sulforaphane glucosinolate is another powerful cruciferous vegetable compound added to Female Plus. This is a highly desirable bioactive nutrient with excellent absorption into the blood stream. The richest source of sulforaphane is broccoli sprouts with much smaller amounts in kale, cabbage, cauliflower, and garden cress.

Sulforaphane helps regulate and manage cellular functions related to antiproliferative activity and induction of apoptosis for cell clean up. It has an inhibitory effect on NF-Kappa B and improves Nrf2 and glutathione antioxidant defense mechanisms.

It reduces oxidative stress in cells, cell linings, and the cardiovascular system. Sulforaphane activates Natural Killer cell activity thereby energizing immune functionality, supporting microbial surveillance, and providing protection against biofilm formation.

Chaste Tree Extract

Chaste Tree Extract (Vitex agnus castus) is commonly used for women’s menstrual cycle comfort and regularity. It supports physical and mental wellbeing with the menstrual cycle.

Chaste Tree extract naturally supports dopamine activity which helps modulate hormone levels related with menstrual cycle regularity and breast comfort. It has mild affinity for estrogen receptor sites supporting natural hormone mechanisms. The well-respected German Commission E approves the use of chasteberry for women’s menstrual cycle health because of its convincing history and clinical data.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is an important nutrient for women. It is often depleted because of oral contraceptive use or other HRT therapies.

B6 is needed for dopamine and serotonin production, mood, energy production, skin and hair quality, and more. This water-soluble B vitamin is required for estrogen metabolism, fertility, and is needed for red blood cell formation, tissue oxygenation, and iron utilization.

Daily Nutritional Support for Women

Women’s hormonal health from onset of menses to menopause and beyond is of great importance to you and your loved ones. When hormones are out of balance and your body is stressed, metabolic functions, emotions, and feeling comfortable in your body don’t happen the way you would like.

Furthermore, blood sugar and metabolic dysfunction, excess weight, dietary choices or insufficiencies, and environmental toxins, medications, and more increase nutritional demands. Many of us fail to daily consume foods rich in bioactive phytonutrients or have a higher need than our diets can provide.

Female Plus aids in optimizing your hormonal balance and estrogen detoxification while supporting healthy breast tissue and the metabolically hungry ovaries and reproductive system. Female Plus can be used daily for long-term health support for a woman’s health span and longevity needs!
